We’re excited to welcome you and your student(s) to another amazing year at Bloomington High School,  home of Bruin pride and excellence! At BHS, we believe in empowering every student to get involved, stay connected, and thrive both academically and personally. We encourage all students to become active citizens of Bruin Country and take advantage of the many opportunities our school has to offer.

BHS continues to provide a strong foundation in rigorous academics, championship athletics, and enriching extracurricular activities. Our students consistently achieve high graduation and Advanced Placement pass rates, a reflection of our ongoing commitment to academic excellence. This year, we remain focused on building healthy relationships, creating a positive school climate, and supporting student social and emotional wellness.

We are proud to offer a range of supports through our Bruins Wellness Center and Parent Center, both of which are here to partner with families and help students succeed. The Bruins Wellness Center, established in 2021, provides trauma-informed care and services that foster emotional resilience and mental health; key elements in supporting academic achievement.

As part of our commitment to preparing students for college and career success, BHS offers a variety of Linked Learning and Career Pathways, including:

• BEAR: Bloomington Engineering and Robotics
   

• COPS: Career Opportunities in Public Service
   

• Business:  Marketing, and Entrepreneurship
   

• Mental and Behavioral Health
   

• Automotive Services
   

We are also in the third year of our Early College Program, in partnership with San Bernardino Valley College, allowing students to earn college credit while still in high school.

Outside the classroom, students can explore their interests and talents through our award-winning band and choir, a wide variety of clubs, and competitive sports teams.

Our school operates under the guiding principles of our BHS for Success motto: Be Responsible, Have Respect, Stay Safe. We are proud to be a Gold-Level PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) school, demonstrating our commitment to a positive and inclusive school culture.
