MISSION

The staff at Bloomington High School is committed to ensuring and creating supportive learning environments and systems for all students to be successful in college, career, and life. All decisions are centered on student equity and access to facilitate their social, emotional, and academic success. 

VISION

The Bruin Solutions Wellness Center is committed to providing and ensuring students with a safe and comfortable space with access to wellness resources and healthy strategies to support all students' mental health and well-being in order to continue to develop healthy coping skills and improve the schools social, emotional, and academic success. 

SERVICES WE OFFER

Bruins Solutions Wellness Center offers a calm & safe space for Short-Term Counseling (Individual/Group) Support Groups (Empowerment Groups/Motivational Groups/Grief & Loss) Learn Coping Techniques (E.G. Deep Breathing, Coloring, Journaling) Wellness Activities (Mediation, Yoga, Mindfulness Art, Games) Calming Space for Students to Distress

Mental Health Program Referrals can be requested at the Wellness Center


 

IMPORTANT STUDENT POLICIES

  1. Upon entering the Bruin Solutions Wellness Center student must check-in and check-out at the computer kiosk
  2. Student must fill out student self-referral form prior or upon entering the wellness center to understand what is bringing the student into the wellness center
  3. Students are permitted 20 minutes in the wellness center and re-assessed before they return back to class
